Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan (UMKT)

        UMKT is the result of organizing Muhammadiyah Samarinda STIKES and STIE Muhammadiyah Samarinda with the addition of 10 new study programs. 

       UMKT has two main campuses with an area of ​​15ha. Campus 1 UMKT is located at Muhammadiyah College Complex, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 15 and Campus 2 UMKT located on Jl. Pelita Complex of Mahakam Enchantment. The implementation of education in UMKT is supported by very adequate learning facilities, starting from representative classrooms, complete laboratories, and information technology-based libraries.

In 2037, the East Kalimantan Muhammadiyah University became a superior information technology-based Islamic University and contributed to social and environmental solutions

Mission 
Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan has a mission:   
1. Organizing Islamic technology-based higher education 
2.  Develop research with priority social problems,especially unemployment and poverty and the environment 
3.  Applying science and technology to be a solution to social problems, especially unemployment,  poverty and the environment
4. Build networks with various parties that are mutually beneficial both inside and outside the country

AIM 
1. Produce character graduates who are based on Islamic values. 
2. Produce science and technology products that are information technology based and environmentally friendly. 
3. Utilizing information technology that contributes to development and becomes a solution to social and environmental problems.
