La Tomatina In Spanyol

         La Tomatina (Spanish pronunciation: [la tomaˈtina]) is an annual festival held in the city of Buñol, Valencia province, located in Eastern Spain at a distance of 30 km (19 mi) from the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, where participants throw tomatoes andare involved in a tomato fight for entertainment purposes. La Tomatina has been going on since 1945 on the last Wednesday of August, during the festival week of Buñol.
        La Tomatina began on the last Wednesday in August 1945 when several young men spent their time in the town square to attend a giant parade and big head figure.
